The Peak Team

In The Peak Team, you are a team of rangers with a clear mission: to ensure the well-being of various animal species in your nature preserve while protecting them from potential threats. A cooperative game by Scott Almes, 1-5 rangers work together to complete various challenging tasks.

The main board represents the nature reserve, dominated by a towering mountain divided into several regions. Using a "reverse drafting" mechanism, in which each player assigns his cards to others, the rangers obtain the tools they need to explore the mountain through various trails and transportation systems.

By reaching different locations and observing wildlife, players complete their personal missions and earn bonuses. Each ranger has two mission slots that are filled once tasks are completed. Only by completing all missions before running out of actions will rangers successfully complete their task!

The Peak Team is built around a tiered level system, with the game's difficulty and complexity increasing as sessions progress. It strikes a careful balance between accessibility for newcomers and rewarding challenge for experienced players.
