Quicksand

Quicksand is a real-time cooperative game in which you work together to deactivate the quicksand, a dangerous trap of gears and sand. The quicksand is a tricky device; you cannot act too quickly or too slowly, or it will be activated. Only perfect teamwork will enable you to disable this ancient device.

Take turns playing cards to flip and move one or more hourglasses. Your goal is to prevent hourglasses from expiring before you deactivate the device.

The hourglasses are on gear tiles, each of which has a different combination of shape and color. Each card shows only one shape or color from all available options. When you play a card, all hourglasses on the corresponding tiles are flipped over and moved to the next tile - whether you want them to or not.

Flip an hourglass too early, and you're in trouble but if you wait too long, the game is over. You have to work strategically together as a team to deactivate the quicksand before the hourglasses expire!
