Santo Domingo

Santo Domingo is the oldest city built by Europeans in the New World. It was one of the most important trading posts in the Caribbean in the 16th century. In Santo Domingo, valuable goods are exchanged and sold. Only if you have the right people and ships available at the right time can you hold your own in this risky but profitable trade. Grab your chance for success! In Santo Domingo, you try to use your 8 action cards smartly. You do this by secretly choosing 1 or 2 cards from your hand. All cards are then revealed simultaneously. In ascending number order, you perform the actions of the cards. It is very important to estimate what cards your opponents are going to play. With the cards played, you can earn points or goods. The Trader allows you to exchange your goods for victory points. The Beggar (action card 8) allows you to take your played cards back into your hand. The game ends once at least 1 player has 30 or more victory points at the end of a round. The one with the most victory points wins the game.
