, each player commands a force of worker dice, which increase in power with each move. During your turn, you move a worker across a modular board, always choosing one of the two areas of the location tile you land on: one offers you an action (and a worker upgrade), the other gives you a powerful bonus (but without an upgrade).

While managing their personnel and resources, players develop new technologies, climb the steps of the three great temples, build houses for the city's inhabitants, and elevate the legendary and breathtaking Pyramid of the Sun in the city's center.

Each game is played in three eras. As the start of the Aztec approaches, players' efforts (and their ability to feed their staff) are evaluated a total of three times. The player with the most fame is the winner.
